These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Bible Indonesia Alkitab Bahasa (the "App"), operated by DarkBlue Apps ("we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial devotional and study purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store's terms of service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.
The App includes a Reels video feed provided for informational and devotional viewing. The App does not offer accounts, user profiles, or community/social posting features.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the App.
4. Ask Divine (AI) Feature
The App includes an "Ask Divine" feature that generates automated responses to your questions. These responses are provided for informational and devotional purposes only and may not always be accurate or complete. They do not constitute professional, medical, legal, financial, or authoritative spiritual or pastoral counsel. Use your own judgment and consult qualified individuals for important decisions.
5. Purchases & Premium
The App may offer optional premium features or an ad-free experience through in-app purchases or subscriptions processed by the applicable app store (for example, Apple App Store). If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew unless canceled, and billing and cancellation are managed through your app store account settings, subject to the app store's terms.
6. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App uses third-party services (including Google/Firebase, Google AdMob, and OneSignal) and may display advertising. Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by DarkBlue Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. Scripture text and related materials are used under their respective licenses or in the public domain, and remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not use our trademarks or materials without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DarkBlue Apps and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its features at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the service. You may stop using the App at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, to the extent permitted by law, and mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
